The Jigawa States Government : To Construct 95 Mosques, Nigerians Reacts


 

Nigerians took to Twitter to react to this revelation. They pointed out that Jigawa state has over 800,000 out-of-school children, yet, rather than build schools, the government is making plans to build mosques.


Some asked how the new mosques will empower the people or create employment. Some suggested that factories or schools should be built instead. And some said it wouldn't be right even if it's 95 new churches that are being built because that shouldn't be our priority.
