Dangote has been linked with Arsenal for in recent time, with the businessman stating that he will be pursuing a takeover of Arsenal, the Mirror reports. Dangote has been told how much it will cost to buy one of the Premier League’s big sides – by Bob Ratcliffe, the brother of one of Britain’s richest men Sir Jim Ratcliffe. Bob Ratcliffe, head of the division of Ineos which owns Nice football club has revealed that  it would cost around £2billion ( N940,000,000,000) to buy Arsenal. National Assembly approves Kogi’s request for $100m loan

Kingsley Fanwo The Kogi State government says it has received the approval of the National Assembly to obtain a foreign loan of $100 million (N36 billion). The state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Mr Kingsley Fanwo, confirmed this to newsmen in Lokoja on Thursday. Àccording to him, the state needs the loan to establish a food processing zone and to modernize its agricultural processes. “The request has been approved by the National Assembly. The project is expected to create over two million direct and indirect jobs. “The proposed Kogi Staple Crops Zone and Agricultural Modernisation Project is set to position Kogi State and indeed Nigeria as the food corridor of Africa and an industrial hub,” Fanwo said Fanwo further explained that the loan facility would now be obtained from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and not the World Bank, as earlier announced.
